INVESTING IN MEXICO (A WEBINAR) THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE OPPORTUNITIES

Friday, 26 August 2022• Hybrid• 9:00 - 10:30 AM (AEST)

A seminar by Gary Bennett

Chairman and CEO of North Star Consulting and Member of ANZMEX Board of Directors

Mexico remains one of the most promising growing emerging economies in the world. In recent years, Mexico went through a transformation. From a developing world currency to an instrument for international finance. In the four years since Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador was elected president, the Mexican Peso has remained resilient. However, many see signals that his vision for the country’s economic future is at an inflection point. That, brings uncertainty to business in general, particularly to foreign and local investors who ask themselves whether Mexico will remain a safe bet or not.

Nevertheless, Mexico’s geographical position, the size of its population, and its natural resources, among other qualities will remain there, for those who can navigate Mexico’s ecosystem, have something valuable to offer, and have the drive to build a successful business.

Join us to find more about the realities, the myths, the challenges, the risks, and more importantly, the opportunities that exist for those willing to bet on Mexico!

Programme:

  • The Mexican style of doing business
  • Working with people
  • Cultural insights
  • Regulation, bureaucracy, and other potential hurdles
  • Religion politics and security
  • Support available
  • Q&A

The seminar will be facilitated by Gary Bennett, member of ANZMEX Board of Director, and the Chairman and Chief Executive of North Star Consulting.
