The Queensland Chapter of the Australia-Colombia Business Group in Brisbane was launched on Wednesday 20 October 2010 at an event hosted by Trade and Investment Queensland in partnership with The Australian Industry Group.

Record foreign investment flows into Chile

Record foreign investments in Chile during the first 11 months of this year are due to the increased number of mining projects and higher capex associated with them, according to the executive director of copper study centre Cesco, Juan Carlos Guajardo.

Figures released by foreign investment committee Cinver show the mining sector accounted for 82.9% of the total US$13.3bn in approved foreign investment in the January-November period. The figure represents a 201%...
