Brisbane North Institute of TAFE
Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT), as part of the Queensland government owned providers of vocational education and training, delivers more than 200 programs to over 38,000 domestic and international students annually. In addition to the development and delivery of industry specific training programs in the classroom and/or in the workplace in Queensland, BNIT has decades of experience developing learning materials for distance learning and blended modes of delivery as well as coordinating projects with many offshore partners across the globe.
Firmly positioned as one of the most successful public providers of vocational education and training, BNIT maintains a demand driven approach to determining product range and services. BNIT teachers are industry professionals in their respective fields with many award winning. Teachers regularly return to specific sectors to enhance their knowledge and ‘fine tune’ skills. BNIT prides itself on its strong partnerships and its quality of training delivery at a state, national and international level. Client satisfaction is evidenced by the longevity of our partnerships.
BNIT welcomes many international students every year to gain quality education and training on campus in Australia alongside domestic class mates in a supportive environment. Our diplomas provide direct entry pathways to top universities, where credit of up to one and a half year’s study is given towards Degree programs. This provides students with two internationally recognised Australian qualifications mostly within the same time it takes to earn one degree, resulting in high graduate employment.
BNIT have developed successful partnerships with government and non-government clients in many cities across countries including China, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, India and Iran with new collaborations emerging from Peru providing solutions to individual learning needs. This includes offshore and joint delivery projects, teacher training and study tours.
