The Western Australian Institute of Technology has established a first-class reputation for delivering innovative programs and value-adding partnerships throughout Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East, and is continuously working to further enhance existing relationships with mineral and energy producers, as well as develop new ones in Latin America.

The Institute provides over 100 Internationally recognised courses that can be delivered in Perth or offshore through our international partners' facilities and worksites. These include specialist-skill training solutions in security and risk management, critical incident management, occupational safety and health, frontline management, project management, training and assessment, automotive services,  conservation and land management, hospitality and hotel management, and community services.

Major oil and gas clients include Qatar Petroleum and Woodside Petroleum, while many graduates of our courses have been employed by mining companies throughout Western Australia.

The Institute works closely with in-house training staff to ensure the programs delivered are in line with the corporate training strategies and often conducts training in conjunction with the client’s own personnel.  Providing current vocational education training skills to client staff also has a positive influence on all levels of training delivered.
