Duratray International is a global supplier of high efficiency dump bodies, present in around 30 countries with an excellent acceptance in large scale mines for minerals as copper, nickel, coal, bauxite, gold, diamonds and iron ore. The company clients include Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Barrick Gold, Rio Tinto, Vale-CVRD and Xstrata among others.
Its unique concept designed to carry more, the Suspended Dump Body provides benefits in terms of resistance to abrasion, reduction of maintenance requirements, carry-back reduction, and OH&S improvement to operator by shock absorption whilst loading, plus Environmental Safety by noise level reduction in the overall operation. SDB’s are lighter in weight and have higher volumetric capacity than standard steel floor designs. Duratray SDB’s are currently installed on 30 tonne to 380 tonne trucks worldwide.
