CQUniversity Australia came on the scene in 1967 as a technological institute. University status came in the early 1990s, and word has been spreading ever since. Today, the university has a network of campuses across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales as well as on overseas delivery site for a range of degrees in Singapore. CQUniversity is extremely popular with international students, especially on its metropolitan campuses. A sleek but aggressive rebranding campaign gave the university a new name – CQUniversity – and infused in its programs a fresh dose of inspiration in 2008. The university’s new streamlined educational model hinges on getting students more invested in the community and in the campus’ research projects, so that by the time they graduate they’ll have hands-on experience and industry know-how to match their academic knowledge. CQUniversity regularly garners top rankings from The Good Universities Guide. Over and again, the university has achieved 5 stars, the highest ratings possible for ‘Graduate Starting Salaries’ and 4 stars for ‘Positive Graduate Outcomes’.
CQUniversity Australia is a multi-campus progressive Australian university and is committed to providing students the opportunity to embark on a rewarding and exciting learning journey in preparation for a future career. Alternatively, students can experience the outback and the beach at Rockhampton, situated in magnificent Central Queensland or one of our regional campuses. Some programs are taught on a number of campuses, in a consistent manner, allowing students to transfer between CQUniversity campuses and see more of Australia.
CQUniversity is committed to excellence in research and innovation and strives to achieve relevance in our research goals through linkages with industry, business, government and the community, and through collaboration with national and international researchers and their respective networks. The university’s research activities are concentrated around three priority areas of fundamental and applied research. These areas include:
