CQUniversity Australia came on the scene in 1967 as a technological institute. University status came in the early 1990s, and word has been spreading ever since. Today, the university has a network of campuses across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales as well as on overseas delivery site for a range of degrees in Singapore. CQUniversity is extremely popular with international students, especially on its metropolitan campuses. A sleek but aggressive rebranding campaign gave the university a new name – CQUniversity – and infused in its programs a fresh dose of inspiration in 2008. The university’s new streamlined educational model hinges on getting students more invested in the community and in the campus’ research projects, so that by the time they graduate they’ll have hands-on experience and industry know-how to match their academic knowledge. CQUniversity regularly garners top rankings from The Good Universities Guide. Over and again, the university has achieved 5 stars, the highest ratings possible for ‘Graduate Starting Salaries’ and 4 stars for ‘Positive Graduate Outcomes’.
